About Me

I live on Salt Spring Island. Currently I am working as an assistant manager at Green Acres Lakeside Resort.

I have been a restauranteur for over 17 years. I closed my business December, 31 2012 and I am determined to change my career so that I am doing what I truly want to be doing in my life.

I have had a great opportunities to work with many young staffs during my profession as a restauranteur. I do not have children my own, so instead, I would like to be a mentor to the local youth and adult who is willing to learn.
I strongly believe education is important. It is the key to understand between the country to country and happy domestic community.

I wish to become an effective educator and help others to take the next step in their lives. What can I teach to others, that is not my question. It could be a dish-washing skill or the history of eight century Japanese literature. I simply would like to share my knowledge with others. That's how I can see my role in life.

My greatest challenge in the PIDP course will be my English skill and computer skill. I will have to work hard to overcome these hurdles, but this could be useful not only myself. It could share my struggles with other learners someday.
